Brian: It was a tremendous gift that you gave when I was able to see the campus of my youth. It was amazing that you had the insight to record the events of daily campus life in 1979. My children were likewise captivated.

The Alpha Phi Alpha pledge line of 1979 was complete. I was able to speak unto the young James Gilbert as the old James Gilbert looked back into time. All of that was because of you. God's continued grace on your work and your life's mission. The work of the historian is precious.
